How to open directions

Follow

The Roadtrippers app does not offer in-app directions or turn-by-turn navigation. However, Roadtrippers does offer easy access to directions to every place or trip waypoint.

For iOS users

The iOS Roadtrippers app supports directions in three navigation apps - Apple Maps, Google Maps, and Waze. Please be sure Google Maps and Waze are installed on your device to use them (Apple Maps is installed by default on iPhones).

For Android users

The Android Roadtrippers app supports directions in any navigation or map app installed on the device. Available apps will appear in a prompt when tapping or swiping to open directions.

*Keep in mind that because directions and navigation is provided from a separate app, directions can only be given for one waypoint at a time AND your route will completely depend on how that app provides directions. So even if you synced a trip that uses only byways, your navigation app will provide directions however it's made to calculate them.*
