Search is best used for finding places in Roadtrippers' categories when the name is known, rather than for generic keywords such as "coffee" or "diner". Instead of searching for a place like that, use categories to Discover Places nearby or along your route.
In addition to searching for places, you can also search for addresses or cities. As you type the address of the place you'd like to visit, a drop-down list will appear suggesting places based on what you're typing.
