Trip privacy allows you to decide who has access to view your trips.
- When Trip Privacy is set to public, a trip can be accessed by anyone using the app. Note that new trips are set to public by default.
- When Trip Privacy is set to private, only you and the people invited to your trip as collaborators can view the trip.
You can control the privacy of your trips through the Trip Settings menu, which can be found in a few places.
On The Map
- Open your trip on the map.
- Click Trip settings in the button grid at the top of the itinerary.
- Under Trip details, scroll to the Privacy section.
- Select Private (visible only to you and collaborators) or Public (visible to anyone you share a link with).
- Click Save, then click Back To Map at the top left to go back to your trip.
In a Trip Guide
- Open your trip in the guide view.
- Hover your mouse over the three stacked dots to the right, beneath the trip guide picture.
- Select the Trip Settings option from the list.
- Scroll down to select private or public.
- Click Save.
- Tap the My Trips tab, then tap the trip you want to edit.
- Open the trip's itinerary, swipe through the options at the top of the itinerary until you reach Trip Settings, and tap that button.
- Flip the toggle next to Make Trip Private on or off.
- Go to the Profile section in the app and select the trip you want to edit.
- Go to the trip itinerary, swipe through the options at the top of the itinerary until you reach Trip Settings, and tap that button.
- Flip the toggle next to Make Trip Private on or off.
