Roadtrippers focuses on points of interest (POIs) that travelers are most likely to seek out on a road trip, things like roadside attractions, campgrounds, restaurants, museums, historic sites, scenic spots, and other unique places worth a stop.
Adding a new place
If a place you want to see on the map is missing, you can suggest it using our Add a Place form. (If it’s a campground, use our Campground Add form instead.) Once submitted, our team reviews the information, and if it’s a good fit, we’ll add it to the Roadtrippers map.
Updating an existing place
If you notice incorrect details (like hours, phone numbers, or websites) on an existing listing, click the link next to “Problem with this listing?" below the description/details on that place’s page. That lets you send us updated info directly, and we’ll review and make adjustments. More on how to do that here.
Other ways to add a stop to your trip
Even if a place isn’t listed on our map, you can still add it to your trip:
- Enter the address in the search bar and add it as a custom stop.
- Drop a pin anywhere on the map.
- Once added, you can then edit the name of the place so it's easy to identify in your itinerary by editing the waypoint details.
