After setting up Routing Options on a trip, you might see some warnings in the trip planner and on the map if we were not able to find a route that uses your avoidance settings or RV safety details. Keep an eye out for any orange or red sections of your route!
To see more details about the problem, you can click the warning message displayed between waypoints in the trip planner or click the warning icon on the affected leg on the map. Note that the route warning icons on the map do not indicate the actual location of the problem, they are just indicative of an issue within that leg.
A red warning is higher urgency than an orange warning. An orange warning means we tried to stick to your avoidance preferences but weren’t able to on part of a trip. A red warning means that the route may not be safe for your RV. Keep reading below for more info about reviewing warnings!
Orange Warnings
If we weren’t able to find a route that used your Avoidance preferences, such as avoiding highways or dirt roads, for any part of your trip then that leg color on the map will be orange instead of blue and you’ll see a warning message between the waypoints in the trip planner.
