Whether you're using the Roadtrippers website or mobile app, you can share trips or places with friends! Keep in mind that in order to share a trip, the trip setting must be public. Otherwise, the link you share will not work.
Sharing vs. Collaborating
When you share a trip, your friends will be able to look at the trip you planned but they will not be able to make changes or suggestions for the trip. Don't fret, while the friend you share your trip with will need to create a Roadtrippers account to view the trip, they do not need to purchase a membership, even for viewing the largest of trips!
Trip collaboration is a feature available to Roadtrippers Pro and Premium members. Trip collaboration allows you to work on a trip with your fellow travel companions even if they don't have a Roadtrippers membership. You can learn more about our Collaboration feature by clicking here.
Share Trip
Open your trip on the map and click the share icon at the top of the trip panel (). You'll see options to share on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest, share via email, or copy the URL to paste anywhere.
Next to the Share option, you can also copy/paste an embeddable code for your trip's map. Embeddable maps are a beautiful interactive way to display your road trip, bucket list, or place on your own website or blog.
Go to the Profile section in the app and select your trip, open the Itinerary, then tap the share icon () at the top of the trip planner.
