Looking to add a few more stops to your trip, and want a recommendation? Autopilot is ready to share top-rated spots you might have overlooked! If you're a Roadtrippers Premium member and you're using the Roadtrippers website to plan your trip, you can ask Autopilot to enhance your trip.
You can ask Autopilot for places to stay, activities and experiences, or places to eat. Just answer a few questions and then Autopilot will let you in on the best of what's around!
With your trip on the map, click the floating blue +Add a Stop button at the bottom of your itinerary.
Click Use Autopilot.
For single waypoint recommendations, you can select a specific day you want recommendations, or remove the date if you're open to suggestions for any day of your trip!
Whether you're adding a full day or a single waypoint, we'll ask you a few questions, then Autopilot will make several recommendations.
For single waypoint recommendations, click a recommendation to view more details about the place and select Add for any places that catch your eye! After selecting the places you're interested in, click Done to add them to your trip.
If you don't see anything you like, use the back button in the lower left to generate new recommendations, or click the X to go back to browsing the map yourself.
Of course, you can always rearrange waypoints after you add a recommendation!
With your itinerary open, tap the floating blue Add a stop button at the bottom of your itinerary and then tap Use Autopilot.
If you tap Add a waypoint at the bottom of your itinerary, you can select a specific day you want recommendations for.
If you tap the Add (+) button next to a specific date, Autopilot will search for locations between the waypoints already set for that date, or those on the previous and next dates.
After answering a few questions, Autopilot will make several recommendations. Scroll through and tap a recommendation to view more details about the place and tap Add for any places that catch your eye! After selecting the places you're interested in, tap Done to add them to your trip.
If you see something you don't like, use the X in the upper right of that place to generate a new recommendations. Tap Done in the lower right to go back to the itinerary.
