Saving or favoriting places on Roadtrippers is a great way to keep a list of interesting spots that you can easily reference later. See an awesome place but don't have any trips planned at the moment? Save it so that you can remember to check it out later!
How to Save / Favorite Places
When you click a place on the map, an info box will pop up and you can click the heart icon to save it. You'll also see the heart icon on results while browsing categories in the Explore tab.
You'll see the heart icon on place pages, too.
Tap a place on the map, then tap the waypoint card at the bottom of the screen to view the view a place page. Tap the heart icon at the bottom right of the place page to save it.

How to See Your Favorite / Saved Places
If you're on the map, you can click your profile icon at the top right and then select My Profile in the dropdown menu. Select Favorites below your profile photo. You can select 'Map view' above your Favorites to see them on the map.
You can also easily view your saved places on the map by clicking the Favorites button at the top of the map, or by clicking in the categories icon in the right of the search bar then selecting the Favorites category before tapping 'Apply'.
You'll see your saved places as hearts on the map and in list view on the left. Make sure to update your search radius and zoom out on the map if you want to see all of them!
When you're ready to choose a new category, tap the categories icon again, then click reset or unselect 'Favorites'.
You can find your Saved Places in three locations on app.
- Open the Explore tab, scroll down to categories, and slide to find 'My Saved Places.' Tap to open your Saved Places on the map.
- Open the Map tab and slide the categories until you see 'My Saved Places'. Tap to open your Saved Places on the map.
- Open the Profile tab. Beneath your photo you will see a tab called Saved Places. Tap to open a list of your Saved Places.

We don’t currently offer the option to save places added by address or dropping a pin or to save cities. Right now, you can only save places that are found on our map. We’re hoping to add the ability to save personal addresses in the future!
