Roadtrippers Pro and Premium members can choose routing preferences like avoiding tolls or highways. Premium members can also apply RV safety settings in the mobile app. To set these up, follow the instructions here: How to Set Up Routing Options
Currently, you cannot modify your route in the app by dragging and dropping the route line. However, you can drop pins along the path you prefer to travel. This creates addressed waypoints and should adjust the route to match your preference.
The easiest and most efficient way to customize your route is to go to Roadtrippers.com and create or edit your trip there. You can find instructions for customizing your route on the desktop site here: Quickly Customize a Trip's Route.
Important Navigation Notes
If you're using Waze or Google Maps for live navigation, be aware that these apps may choose a different, more efficient route instead of following your custom one.
If you use the in-app navigation in the Roadtrippers app rather than another navigation app, the navigation should stay very close to your trip's route.
Just remember that our navigation works point-to-point, so you'll need to navigate to each pin or waypoint in order to stay on your custom route.
