Profile settings is where you'll go to manage several options on your profile, such as account information, set preferred distance units, manage your subscription if you're a paid subscriber, and more.
To get to your profile settings in the web app or on our desktop site, log into your account at https://roadtrippers.com/.
Now click your profile icon in the upper right of the page.
Click the Edit Profile button below and to the right of your profile photo and name.
You'll find a few different sections within the Account Settings menu here:
- Profile
Here you can add or edit information that's displayed on your Roadtrippers profile page, including your profile photo and banner image, name, location, and bio.
You can also add or edit your home address and phone number. If you provide this information, it will not be displayed on your profile page. If you save a home address, it will be the default starting location for new trips. If you save a phone number, you'll be eligible to receive membership discounts from Roadtrippers.
- Social Media
You can link to your accounts on Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Youtube, Facebook, or a website/blog.
- Vehicles
This is where you can save the vehicle save vehicles to your profile. You can learn more about that here: Saved Vehicles
- Subscription Details
If you are a paid subscriber, you'll see this section where you can manage your subscription and see Member Deals.
- Account
Here you can edit your username, email address, and password. You can also set your preferred distance unit (miles or kilometers).
- Email Preferences
Here you can tell us what types of emails (newsletters, promos, feature updates) you do or do not want to receive.
To get to your profile settings in the mobile app on iOS tap the Profile tab on the right side of the bottom navigation menu.
From here, you can manage a number of settings on your account! Be sure to scroll down to see all the options.
Tap Saved Places to view places you’ve bookmarked.
Tap Reviews to see reviews you’ve written.
Tap Settings to updates your username, email, password, manage your subscription, see member deals, and set preferences like preferred navigation app, map style, units of measure, or push notifications. This is also where you can delete your account.
Tap Edit Profile to update your profile picture, name, bio, or home address.
Tap My Vehicles to update and manage your trip vehicles.
Tap Offline Maps to download a map or view one you've already downloaded.
Scrolling to the bottom of this section offers you the option to Sign Out.
To get to your profile settings in the mobile app on Android, follow the steps below.
- Open the Roadtrippers app on your mobile device.
- Go to the Profile section in the bottom navigation menu.
- Tap the gear icon in the upper right of your profile page.
From here, you can manage a number of settings on your account! Be sure to scroll down to see all the options.
- Under Edit Profile, you can edit your username, email address, password, and profile photo.
- Go to Navigation App to edit your default navigation app. You can choose between Roadtrippers in-app navigation, Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze - depending on what you have installed on your device.
- Edit your Map Style (you can also do this from the Map section in the app).
- Go to Units to set your temperature setting (Fahrenheit or Celsius) and preferred distance unit (miles or kilometers).
- Manage your Push Notifications settings.
- If you are a paid subscriber, you'll see a Roadtrippers Membership section where you can manage your subscription and view member deals.
- Under Love Roadtrippers?, you can rate us in the Google Play store, share the app with friends, or give us feedback.
- Tap Support to go to our help center where you can find tips for using Roadtrippers and answers to frequently asked questions.
